 Happy 85th birthday (March 17) to Ladder member Zella Simmons! Zella hangs out with us almost every day to spend time with friends, play games, and eat lunch. She is known for crocheting beautiful doilies (which she generously gifts to people and even donates them for bingo prizes). Zella is also a seasoned gardener and canner - nothing slows her down! Check out the video on The Ladder's Facebook page!  Happy birthday to Ladder member Josephine Campagna, who turned 103 on Friday, March 18! Jo has been coming to The Ladder since it opened in 2016. She is here every Thursday for bingo, and she is still sharp as a tack at 103! Several of Jo's family members joined us to celebrate, including Ladder volunteer Noreen Campagna, who said, "Aunt Jo is a fantastic cook. She made the very best cabbage rolls in the world!" I don't know about you, but I was sold as soon as she said that! Who needs cake when you can have the world's best cabbage rolls?
