1. We read the word of God: 2 Timothy 2:15 - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
  2. We are led by the Holy Spirit: Galatians 5:25 - Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
  3. We love God: Deuteronomy 6:5 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
  4. We pray fervently: Ephesians 6:18 - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
  5. We repent & forgive: Acts 3:19 - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.  Matthew 6:14 - For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
  6. We give thanks: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
  7. We give generously: 2 Corinthians 9:7 - Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
  8. We love people: John 13:34-35 - 34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
  9. We share truth boldly: Ephesians 6:19a -  Pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words as I boldly tell others about the Lord.
  10. We serve humbly: 1 Peter 4:10 - Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
  11. We encourage: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
  12. We celebrate: Psalm 118:24 - This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
