Prayer is an essential part of who we are at The Ladder Community Center. So much so that prayer is one of our core values. Join us in prayer for our community and the work that God is doing here!
We have a team that meets at the following times to pray for The Ladder Community Center.
1st Thursday of the Month--Pray together for the Ladder from 8:00 am - 8:40 am @ The Ladder 3rd Thursday of the Month--Pray Individually for the Ladder from 8:00 am - 8:40 am @ your homes. If you are interested in joining the team please contact us.
Those who would like to pray and are unable to make it to our prayer team meetings are welcome to join our prayer partners email list. Please contact us if you are interested in receiving regular email correspondence with current prayer requests for The Ladder Community Center.

Senator Jon Bumstead-
Elected officials Rep. & Dem. Gov. Whittmer and others; for them in their travels
That the budget that is passed is fair to all.
For decisions made that affect our environment (maintain clean air and water).
That he and those on the council will be able to uphold the values and interests of those who elected them and that they would be mindful of all the needs of the community.
There they will have unity as they make decisions.
For Rob as he is coming in as an outsider… vision and wisdom… That He would establish good relationship and have wisdom. And for Crystal and Randy as they deal with the public.
That the Village finishes under budget for its fiscal year 2019-2020 budget.
That I make the right choices to better the village. WISDOM
The village is in the process of updating our Master Plan; Pray it goes smoothly.
Smooth and successful process with the grant application to make improvements to Getty Park.

That they will find ways to attract new young people to join the department. They have less than 30 available on any given day. Need more Hispanic fire fighters.
Pray for the families. It’s a major commitment and sacrifice for the families as they give up special events… burnout; pressures; Pray they will know and express when they have reached their limits; that they won’t take on too much
That God will raise up courageous, godly leadership to fill the shoes of those needing to retire. Several currently 60+ and we need some younger leaders. For safety for all the workers.
Wisdom for ALL elected officials.
That they will meet the budget and that revenue will meet the outgoing without using the contingency monies.
That God will raise up strong Christian leaders to replace the commissioners that will be stepping down in 2020.
Officers and their families. For safety, wisdom, vigilance, patience and compassion in treating all people and in daily decisions.
Safety in schools. Vigilant in response and prepared for all challenges.
Corrections officers and the inmates in our county. That inmates will find rehabilitation and make better life choices and that the officers will have the patience needed in dealing with the inmates and their workload.
For prayer for Craig and those working with him. Patience to deal with type A personalities…
Major Derik Van Baale-
Veterans and their families. That those contemplating suicide will reach out for help. That those in the family will recognize the signs and know what to do.
For those on active duty; Nat’l guard; reserves; and their families. Safety and that they will train hard and be ready when called upon.
Commander in Chief, and other military leaders, that they will wisely make decisions.
Safety in the schools. – from shootings and behavioral issues. (the threats from outside and inside)
For those teachers that are feeling overwhelmed or unprepared because of all the issue changes that have happened over the years. Pray for a preparedness for a wide range of challenges.
For respect for authority; the teachers and the family life of the students.
Wisdom and strength; spring can be difficult for kids and teachers. School can be a safe place for some and difficult for others. Pray for students who are fearful about summer. (school is their safety net)
For God to raise up godly leaders in the school system and for those that are retiring and for those that will replace them.
Continued support for the local businesses and for new good business to come to our community.
For godly people to fill the closed down shops.
For an awareness, understanding and involvement in the needs of our community.
