  5. God has blessed us with 7 grandchildren and 1 granddaughter who adopted us to be her grandparents. An extra special blessing happened in 2013, when I was able to be at the birth of my oldest grandson in Japan.

  2. For my high school home ec sewing project, I made a tennis skirt.  I was proud to wear it for my tennis match that week, only to experience the stitching coming out of the entire skirt.  My coach rescued me with some duct tape, so I could finish the match! I've never sewn since.
