Bus Driver & Lead Coach
Shelby will always be Brian’s home. He is so grateful for a community that encouraged him in his youth, and now as director of The Ladder, he is blessed every day with positive interactions with the great people of Shelby.
Brian recognizes the horrible death Jesus Christ suffered on the cross for his sins. That realization brings him to desire two things. First, to Celebrate—Raise the Roof for our Lord and Savior through singing. Secondly, to tell everyone about Jesus for the rest of his days on this Earth. He strives to make Jesus famous in Shelby. Eternity in Heaven is at stake!
Youth & Men's Coach
Coach Love brings a love for Jesus and 30 years of public school teaching and coaching experience to the Ladder. He believes there is an eagle and a turkey on the inside of every young person. The one that gets spoken to will rise to the ascendancy! He calls out the eagle with after school programs and summer activities that provide middle and high school students the opportunity to have fun, be challenged and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Troy also coaches men to become as God designed them to be: strong men of honor! He has a desire to see God bless Shelby, as the hearts of fathers are turned to their children and the hearts of children are turned to their fathers, according to Malachi 4:6.
